Into the blue!

I worked on 5 x 7" gesso board with pigments left from a previous painting session and completed 8 "waves". These are done with Chroma Ateliers applied wet into wet. These paintings will be on view at Austin Art Space Gallery April 12-25 in the residents show "Studies in Blue". I like the raw, loose feel of the pigment on the board, and it was fun to do 8 small paintings after working on 30 x 30" canvases.
