I began working on this 36 x 48 x 1.25" canvas when I got word that our resident artist show at Austin Art Space Gallery and Studios had been moved up a month! YIKES! I have several new pieces ready for this show but I had my heart set on something BIG. I happened to have a 36 x 48 hanging around the studio so on a rainy day last week with no time to delay, I went yellow and started the new series. As usual I'm using a combo of acrylics, but my mainstay is Chroma Atelier Interactives. Can't wait to put this on the easel and use my Chroma pigments, mediums, and big brushes to finish it and get on to the other 24 in this new and exciting series!
